A pickup without a dog is like a hamburger with no meat. Ron
Dogs in the back, women in the front....

Lock 'em both in the trunk of a car for half an hour and guess which one will be happy to see you when you open the trunk up?
Put on your best going to church or interview for a job suit and sit in the truck, it'll work I promise. Suits are hair magnets,it works even quicker if your actually going to church or an interview
You guys are a crack up.  I know Johns wife has alergies and I'm sure that is the problem.  Check the after market carpet kits you may find them very affordable.

The hair itself doesn't trigger allergies most times.  Saliva and dander (skin flakes) often are the culprit.

Consider renting a steam cleaner with a hand held wand, it will clean up the allergens and get a fair amount of the hair, too.

The other alternative is to get a dog.  I'm allergic to them and the longer I am around them the less the symptoms I have.  Eventually I build up an immunity.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
