I have no idea what the stone is but I like it.  Nice and tough.

Now you just need to knap a heart shaped notch in the side - same idea as an e notch just heart shaped.

Cool. I made one a few weeks ago. And if i bring to many more tiny chips in the house my wifes heart may turn to stone then she'll have a pair LOL!

Nice I made one out of obsidian at the last reenactment I was at people really liked it.

Thanks and she loves it.  i need to make a small stand for it.  Something simple to prop it up a little.

Cool...I made my wife a few..  sometimes get bored and make different shapes like stars and snakes...thats the beauty of working with stone u are not limited to making arrowheads and blades!

Time, dedication, cuts, tons of broken rock, a wife, and perhaps a few girlfriends are some of what it takes in becoming a skilled flint knapper!!!
