New quiver
« on: February 05, 2013, 03:00:12 pm »
Thought I'd do something different these last few day and make a new quiver.
Main body is 6/7 oz. veggie tan,  covered top and bottom with 3/4 oz. veggie tan, basket weave stamped.
Hand stitched with linen thread.
Dyed with fiebings, would rather have use natural dye but was out.
Came out good. Will use this for target and stump shooting. Prefer my basket quiver.

If you need some "ideas" I have some pics of NA museum quivers made from single cased skins They are pretty much made the same way with the major difference being if they came from horse cultures or foot cultures like the great lakes riverine......if ya want them please send me an email at  rousseau.rd@att.net  and I'll send them to you. I aint smart enough to put them on a PM but can attach them to an email.......
