Here is me first set of Enlgish bodkin points. They aren’t that bad but still need some work.

i love them, especially for being your first, good job on the sockets
warbows and fishing, what else is there to do?
modern technology only takes you so far, remove electricity and then what

really the first attempts? mine looked way uglier  :) congrats!

how heavy are they? in my experience making them big is not a problem, the tiny ones (125 grains or below) are the difficult ones  ;)

ciao,

Nicely done!  A little shaping and they'll be ace!

Those look great, especially the third one from the left. What size shaft will they fit?

Thanks for all the replies.
gianluca100: I'm not too sure of the weight of them, I don't have a scale to weigh them on at the moment.
fishfinder401: My anvils are all back home, at the moment I have access to a 125 pound JP from England, and I also used a mandrel/bick that I had made for making sockets on, I'll attach a picture of them.
darwin: I used half inch key stock to make them, to form the socket I flatten out one end in a fish tail shape to the size I wanted then I use the cross peen end of my hammer and the side of the anvil horn where it meets the anvil to start the socket to bend into a U shape, then on the anvil face I start the roll of the socket, then insert it onto the end of the mandrel/bick and finish shaping it.
adb: Those 4 will fit on a 3/8 inch shaft with a recessed end so that its a smooth transition from point to shaft.
