i got one of them legendary bowyers myself and its making me sweat!
oh well, reckon im just gonna have to up my game or run away like a scared little girl...

lucky for me i have one heckuva lovely yella stave that oughta work great if i can pull it off  :-\
alrighty then, the challenge is on!

thinking there's a nice little snakey bow in there when i get those knots knocked off
down another ring and things shld be shaping up!
but my name has numerous osage bows already
maybe i shld dig out that super reflexed hackberry instead....
is there such a thing as too many osage bows?   :laugh:



looks like that little wind check is showing the way...
feel pretty good about this stave.
nice rings, a bit of character, still over 72" long and a full 2" thick
gives me lots of room to work.
most of the osage i work is marginal at best, so this one is gonna be a pleasure

Lol, I know what you mean. Got my name a little after midnight and researched untill 2:30 am and ive been back at it since 7:30.
