I think a trade like this encourages us to stretch the limits of our abilities. It certainly does for me. I'll bet your final product will be one of your best yet!

Tiller check please???
Got it to 23 inches but the pick is probably 21 or so. Snakey front profile you can't see in the pics is messin' with me. Outers need to bend more I think. Handle is still stiff but that's next after I get the limbs right. Going for 27 inches.

had to use some heat to get the string on the bow on two staves, got the tri lam ruffed out, got one ready to glue up and three rehydrateing, bub

Looking to be a fine bow Slim. My guess on tiller would be outter limbs a little more also. Hate to give tiller advice though since every
time I try to tweak tiller on one of my own it's like a new experience.
Are you gonna have that bend a little in the handle also?
How many you got going bubby?

Thanks Greg. This one's givin' me fits right now. Yep it will bend in the handle. Hope to get some time in and get it near completely tillered today. We'll see as I was just told of my activity schedule after church. Damn activity schedule!

ok got it drawn out to 20" but still to heavy on the weight,lots of sanding coming up but getting there.....Hammertime

I hear ya badly bent. Why is it always easier to tiller someone elses bow.
