Glad you like it, Jon. I hope it lasts you a good long time!
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Some like motorboats,I like kayaks, some like guns,I like bows, but not the wheelie type.

Finally found someone to shoot this chunk of wood to see if it is a bow
He said it was OK , hope he wasn't just being nice !
Now to make a string and decide what else I may find time to do before the hounds catch up to me !

To whoever is making one for me, if your having trouble with weight don't sweat it too much.  I will be happy with anything, I would prefer it to be over 40# so I could hunt with it but believe me I will be happy.  I don't want to cause too much undue stress on anyone really.

Now that I have mine the PRESSURE IS ON.   ESPECIALLY since it's so nice.  Not sure if mine will be as good but I'm trying.  On my third attempt.   I hope it turns out.   Been really really busy with other stuff.  dang it.    ....I will get it done.

Here's my tradebow for this year.  This is the first time I've used this kinda wood and I gotta say that I am highly impressed with it.  Its well shot in and ready for the lipstick.  I will try to do a little better job with the finish work than I usually do.  I won't give the specs, but I will say that it came in at  exactly what the victim asked for.  I still don't know how that happened.  Thanks for looking.  Josh.        I guess pics would probably be helpful ::)  oh...and its hop hornbeam

Hmmm.  If my eyes aren't deceiving me it looks like that bow is about 24"-25" on that stick judging by the notches.  That's right about the dimensions I need.   8)
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
