Progress report. Plan B has been a slow grind. Very challenging stave in a lot of ways. Thin rings, high crown, knots on top of knots, but, I've made some progress. 66" x 1 1/2" Osage bendy handle. 14 inches on the tree. Still heavy so I have plenty of room to even it up, though it's pretty close. I filled 9 knots with CA glue. They all run at odd angles thru the limb. Two of them are on the belly edge, exiting the limb on the side. Yuk! Not visible from the back so I couldn't avoid them. Stuffed them with sinew and filled with glue. Sinew is probably not doing anything, but it's in there. Pics below show one of them. Seems to be holding up but we shall see. Been a challenge.
This edit may be a mute point as this bow might explode into splinters before it's over with, but it appears to be holding up fine at this point and I think it will make a shooter. Probably won't be the trade bow. Just not real comfy with the voids. Opinions sought and welcomed.
