this is a tree of heaven bow, or as we call it out here Chinese stink tree ,this on was in the corner o' shame for a while, was having lots of trouble with it , had a ton of reflex finally steamed the crap out of it and got like 3/4" of deflex at the handle anyway it's 62"ttt with flipped tips and bendy handle, around 40# @ 29", wrapped a nick in the back with some b-50 and a ca soak, still needs some finish work but wanted to show ya can get a bow from this wood, Bub

Nice one bub. I don't know anything about this wood, what other wood would you compare it to? Looks like it came from a small sapling
if I'm seeing the crown right in the pic. I like the simple look of the bow and you got a good tiller as usual.

Nice! is it this plant?

That thing grows like a weed here in urban environments. I'd never have thought it makes a bow cause it grows fast and the wood is light.

Great, like the tiller, that's a decent draw length from a skinny stick.

Nice tiller Bubby.  I keep seein' this tree talked about, I don't think we got it down here.  Not that I'm aware of any way.
