It's a bit like the old question...
What do you get if you cross an Elephant with a Rhino?

Thanks guys!

Guy, I thought the same thing when I saw it but the craziness kicked in I guess.

Chris, I couldn't have done it if you hadn't generously gift me the piece! I really appreciate it man!  :)

Wow, that's way out!  :o  :-X  ;D Truly, really coooooooool.

BUT. I't's been said that b50 may have some elasticity issues. But it's not THAT bad, is it?. You should make a sinew cable, really.

Just let me say once again: That is pretty cool.

I have no words.  :o It's cool whatever it is,  :).
"The way of heaven is like the bending of a bow-

the lower part is raised up,
the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

Really interesting conception!!  I looked at all the pic's before reading the details and thought you'd utilised a bone comb!  After reading it's brass, I'm even more itrigued at how you managed to get it to work and to look so uniform!

Incredible project!

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it!

Jodocus, The back string is extremely taught at brace and even more so during the draw. It must stretch a little bit but I think it really forces the bow to compress a lot. I think a more elastic string would be better for the wood since it would stress it less.

Josh, It actually shoots pretty darn well considering it's light draw weight. I need to get some light arrows for it and I'll just use it as a mess around target bow.
