Thanks guys! You're all too kind. I think I might have to start harvesting staves with big branches in the middle! That way I can actually plan for this design instead of forcing it to work out.  >:D

Matt, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it this week but we'll see. I'm sure I'll be bringing this thing everywhere I go from now on so you'll see it eventually!  ;D

Jon, You tell me!

Someone on PP asked to see a video so you could see how it moves during the draw. You can see I added another leather pad on the back of the limb and also a small string bridge on the recurve. The tape on the arrows is at 22" and I'm clearly drawing less than that, probably closer to 19", mostly out of fear. Ha. The arrows I'm shooting are just under 400 grains. The noise from the first one is a loose fletching but otherwise the bow is pretty quiet I think. Gosh I love this thing!

  Very reminiscent of the Hidatsa bow (featured in PA , some time ago ) ...  one we’ve certainly been wanting to try ...  8)
