Great words of wisdom. I might just have to start on a very intimidating hawthorn stave after reading this. Can't way to see the finished bow by the way!

Well, here she is all finished up for Charlie except for a little more shooting. I think she came out pretty good. She shoots well but with a little hand shock. I think that is because one side of the bow is stiffer because of the "warts" along that side. She came out at 47#@26"(tillered to 28").

I really like that stitching pattern on the grip. Braced profile looks excellent. Thanks for sharing!

The stitch is pretty easy and starts with a baseball stitch then bring both threads back up under the first stitching . When you get to the top start back down criscrossing the threads and under the last stitch....if that makes sence.  ???
