Thank you for the compliment Jon.

Thank you misslemaster. It's interesting how we all develop our own recognizable style after a while.

Thank you mullet. I appreciate the nice words.

Thank you Bryce. It was good seeing you, Weylin, and Steve at the range today. I didn't put a lot of arrows through the bow today because I don't have the proper spined arrows - I'll have some ready to go next week.

It looks great thanks for the extra picture, could you explain to me how a power lam influences performance?

Darwin, a powerlam doesn't affect performance. It is simply a technique for building up the riser so that the handle overlay doesn't get overstressed and delaminate.

Thank you Pappy, it is a nice change from my heavy weight bows.

That makes sense i couldn't see how it would impact the performance, so would it be fair to say "power" lam is a bit of a misnomer as it doesn't add any power?

Nothing Special? I think your picture must be in the dictionary beside the word "modesty"

Beautiful bow there Gordon.  Those subtle curves are just gorgeous. I want to try one like it this spring/summer.  It looks like the deflex goes about 60% out the limbs before the reflex begins.  Is that about right?

Thank you Danny.

Thank you for the compliment Simson. I have been admiring your bows also.

Darwin. The term "Powerlam" certainly seems like a misnomer to me. I'm guessing the term was coined by someone with a background in sales and marketing  ;D

Thank you Gopher, I really appreciate your nice words.

Thank you for the compliment hedgeapple. Reflex in the lower limb starts at about 50% and at about 60% in the upper limb as you noted. I never really thought about it, but that is a result of making the limbs asymetrical without adjusting my form. Doesn't seem to hurt anything though.

Beautiful bow Gordon. You always do such exceptional work. Is there a source now for Lemonwood?

That looks like a real pleasant shooter there.  Not to bad on the eyes either  ;)  Looking forward to seeing that one at the next get together.
