How good is Eastern Red Cedar as bow wood?

A wind storm knocked over a large cedar tree near me.  I was wondering if its worth getting a couple staves or limbs for bows or if I should just use it for furniture, mantles, etc.?

If you design it right and sinew back it,and it holds together you will love it........ 8)

Id def set some wood aside for staves/bows

ive built a couple out of them some good ones too. just remember be very careful with it you can dent the wood if it gets knocked around too much

When its good its very very good but when its bad its terrible!   If you are taking out a big tree you might as well get a few staves and limbs while you're at it.

I love the stuff but I might just be a glutton for punishment ;). Like everyone else said it can make a sweet bow but watch out if it blows!
