Bow for my daughter :)

I have never posted any pics of the bows I have made so here is one I just completed for my daughter.  Osage 54 1/4" tip to tip, 53" N-N, 40# @ 24" draw.  The bottom limb to me looks a little off but I measured every 3" along the length of the limb and measured it to its brace.  Both limbs are within 1/16th of an inch at each reference point.  Since the math was correct and it shoots really smooth, I left it like it is.

Wonderful!  Hope this is the first of a long line of bows she shoots in her lifetime!

Nice job! I don't know how old your daughter is but be prepared to make her more bows in the near future.  I'm currently working on my middle daughters 3rd bow in 4 yrs.  They seem to outgrow them as fast as I can make them.  Once again, nice work on that bow!  Josh

Something tells me you ain't complainin', Josh.  In fact, I think I hear some justifiable pride in your voice. 

Wasn't all that long ago, folks would have said bows were for boys.  Glad we blew up that myth!

Thanks for all the comments guys.  Marks- yes the nocks are a little high.  I adjusted the nocks as well as compressed the handle and fades.  I wanted to make it a D style bow and still get as much work out of the limbs as I could for her draw length.  The stave was only 54 1/4" long, I knew I could make a C style bow easily but wanted the challenge of making the D style.  Good job on picking up on the high nocks.
