staves

i hate asking but does anyone have any staves that they could give me.  i dont care if its snakey as heck, it just has to make a decent hunting bow there is no where here that i know where i can get staves.
i need nothing but my old bow and arrows.

Kidbow,  I'd love to help, but I'm a long ways away.   Most of the folks here are pretty generous, but you'd be looked on a lot more kindly if you offered something in trade.   Where in Kentucky are you?  I suspect there's a good, cuttable tree somewhere within a mile of your home... you just need to have someone help you find it.    Ron

Cantuck has osage and lots of good wood everwhere. have you not meet anyone on here?

i know people here i have just not met anyone one in person. and the forests near me are off limits or i can get in some serious trouble. and i would trade something if i had anything. i have some cattails near me to make small game arrows and i can make target mats out of cattail for target practice

Do you have the few tools and area to work a stave bow?

Thanks Pat.  I was just concerned about his statement about the woods near him being off limits and he would get in big trouble.  If I knew it was ok with his parents for him to get the wood, I will send you the shipping cost to get it to him.  Still have some concern.  But if you want to ship it, give me the cost and I will send you a MO to cover it.  How is that?
