The drawn profile looks great....it should be a decent casting bow. I think this is one of your better tillers I've seen....now just narrow down those last 8-10" some, and maybe start slapping on some overlays for a lil more refinement ;) ......you've come a long way grasshopper....I remember a few years back a 50" short elm bow that happened in disaster due to underbuilt, poor tiller, and overdrawn. Its fun watching folks improve and get better...keep up the good work sleekster.

Nicely done Sleek. Glad it came around for you and turned into a fine bow, really like that front profile and it has a good drawn look to it as well. I know what you mean about the  fits and frustrations some bows want to give you through the whole build.  :)

It is a beautiful bow, you did a great job and I really like the tiller.

Looks right to me,  ;).

the part that has too much is reduced,
the part that has too little is increased."

Thanks for all the compliments guys, they mean allot.

Blackhawk, I remember they bow you are referring to and actually still have the broken pieces to it. It was an elm shortie, stiff handle, with a rawhide back. Yup, it was waaayyyy to overdrawn. Elm can take allot, but sometimes, its just too much. That bow was a mess.

I am going to be leaving the tips wide on this bow. Of course that will slow it down some, but I want this bow to be able to take all kinds of torture and abuse without concern of the tips breaking. And the tips are already working some at full draw, any more wood taken off will make them work even more. Not what I am after. I agree narrow tips do speed things up, but this bow shoots just fine as she is, with no hand shock.

Now I gadda get this thing in a shipping tube before I get to many people mad at me. Thanks again everybody for the comments, this bow was for whatever reason, whoopin my butt. So I have named it, The Whoopin Stick.
