Anybody done an Elk horn/Sinew bow?

I have become very interested in this type of bow. I'm hoping James Parker will see this and chime in. Any tips or info would be really cool.

Yeah I watched that series Bryce. I was wondering about the one piece type as well. I really would like to know more about how/where to source the horn.

I have done quite a bit of research on these bows. They say the bows are limited in life. I have access to tons of elk antlers. I had planed on a spliced handle for my try. I just have never started one. Don't boil the antler it will take all of the "glue" that holds the antler together out. It is better to submerge into a freshwater creek to soften the antler. I could go on but you can contact me if you want.
