Thank you all...yew is realy an amaizing wood, i could not done it withoute the help of this amaizing wood....i respect nature, and i always try to use all i can ....thats why, i never throw up a piece of wood...even iff its shorter, or anithing els..i always find something to do with it...but for yew, i have a realy deep respect, becose its so hard to find...and im realy happy , for this bow...
...this is my second yew bow, and also made from a dificult piece...i have another yew long bow...it wass also made from a branch, and as i keep tiller that bow, it always wanted to split, in the middle, becose of that internal, soft merrow...and whatt i did, wass to wrap the bow, from 10" to 10" with hemp cord, so that will not broke...and i ended having a functional bow...i didnt want to give up on him..
...soon i will start working on another piece of yew, wich will be also verry dificult...its full with knots...this time, i will try to make a long bow...i will leave it pretty long..190cm long, and i will see iff i can make a bow out of that piece, and i will keep u posted...thanks alot for all your compliments...im happy to be active here again...i realy love this place..i always learn something new, waching you guys...so, good luck all of you ..wish u all the best.
