Might have to consider it. I went to the first couple in '80s and had a blast. Is there a knapping area or just bring your own tarp?

Bring your own Tracy, Ive never noticed any specific area. Its started to grow from what Ive been told. Im excited to be a part of that.

What Pearl said about a tarp but there will be a knapping area which is usually by the practice targets.  I am sure Mike Cook and Clay Wykes are going to be there knapping and Frank Stevens may be there selling rocks.

Thanks Pearl Drum & JEB. I was thinking about which event it was I went to and not sure if this is the one. I do know for a fact it was in Marshall and there was a chain link around the entrance and a block building for concessions restrooms. Sucks getting old! I met guys like Paul Brunner, Comstock, Baker,Hamm and some others. It was definitely early 80's. Anyway, I want to try and make it up this year if time permits.

Back from the Classic!!
Good times

HTK
Everyone is welcome at Marshall!

Flint knappers should all ways have a tarp with them , but the plan is for me to bring my 10 X 20 Tent just for them to have a community spot to gather together , and we will try to light it ! I hope I don't forget the plan! Some times my brain overloads just cause I want to be there so bad !

14 days till I head out for Marshall ! WOOOHOOO !!
