Thanks, its a great shooter, shoots straight and fast. Its 2/3rds heart wood down the length, i shouldn't have stained it so you could see it better. It looked really cool on the back of the bow.

I look at that severe arrowpass cutout and my butt clenches so tight I couldn't pass a TicTac!  I guess that means I really should try making a bow with a cutout.  It's always been something that just worried me to no end. 

She's a wonder, Bowman53.  Wonderful tillering job you did.  Yup, gotta love that simple bow.  The grain of the wood really pops with your finish.  Thanks for sharing with us!

Good tiller BOWMAN53.That cut out arrow pass might work on hickory but some woods it won't.
