Viscose bowstring?

Has anyone ever used this too make a string? Apparently it is made from bamboo fibers.

Whenever they make fiber like that they totally break it down and reform it almost like a spider makes silk so it's not really bamboo  "fibers." 
 There is no reason why it won't work if  made up according to finished fiber strength.

Like that bamboo string on the chief's bow in Hamm and Alleley Northeast and midwest?

Would love to learn how to amke  a bowstring from bamboo.  PatM, do you know how?
