Any of you knife makers need brass? I have a slab that is 23" x 4" x1/2" thick if anyone is interested. Would like to trade for a small draw knife and a good cabinet scraper.
It has some bolt holes and some shallow grooves on one side, but plenty of good, usable brass here

where in the world did you find a piece of brass that big?

I see you live in Jackson TN. Are you coming to the Classic,I may be interested but would hate to ship that.I work for Det. [Miller/Coors] in Nashville and we also own the dist. in Jackson. We are in that area 3/4 times a week.Let me know.Maybe we can work something out and save shipping. Got plenty of draw knives and scrappers.  ;) :)

Hey guys. The piece of brass came off of a piece of die casting equipment. Pappy, I'm from Jacksboro, not Jackson. On the other end of the state (north of Knoxville). I'm working a trade already. I'll keep my eye out for more and bring it to the Classic.
