A Couple of Martys Bows
« on: January 07, 2013, 10:26:02 am »
My(our) good friend Marty(oldtimberbows) is a bowaholic and he sent me a couple pics of a couple new ones he just finished up. I've tried to show him how to post photos from a smart phone a couple times but his phone and photobucket don't quite agree with each other..lol. So anyways thought id put a couple pics up without him knowing ...lol  we'll be having our winter mijam/martyjam the first weekend of Feb. Can't wait to see n hang with all my Michigan bros. The first bow has a massive hole in the fade,n the second one is a snakey sinew backed, flipped tips with timber rattlers....thought y'all might like some eye candy bow porn ;)

Sorry..those are the only two pics he sent me....

That big hole bow gives me faith in my big two hole bow......If I know Martin I can bet these bows shoot just fine.

See you soon Marty!

Good on Marty, Hawkster!  I think that the knot bow pictured is the inside split from his "Holy Bow".  I was wondering about the Winterjam.

MSDave:  Hadn't heard neither hide nor tail of you.  How are things?  Well, you and the other boys coming to TN?

We just came up with the dates a few days ago Matt...give Marty a buzz....I'm not sure but you might be right about the holy bow#2. I know I can get my closed fist thru the"holy bow" #1.

More fine bows from Oldtimber bows !
Good to see some of his work ,thanks for putting them up Chris !!
If everyone that wants to come to Mid winter MiJam would show up he may have to close the town down to get them all in !
I hope he did not give my spot by the fire away , as far as bow building space I will be glad to get out of the way and let you all go at it !!
My body ain't working so good anyway !
I go to the heart doc  tomorrow ,he is thinking I might want to stop telling folks ,that at least my heart works good ,when they ask how am I doing , I can't really think of one part of my body that works right any more . I recon that means I am officially old and worn out just like you all thought !!
My good buddy William is stopping in to see me tonight !!! God is so good !
In a couple of weeks is Kzoo
Have fun !
