Since everyone is there the weekend before I think next year i will change to that weekend !
Helping out is the part of life I like the best anyway !
That way I will be gone before all the picture taking starts !
Yes I know I am weird that way !
What did you expect from a Worthless old nut anyway ?
I am so glad to have a big brother that is willing to use his time to haul me down there !
Thank you to him and Pappy and all involved !
Are we there yet !!!!

Lol! John I am working on two sets of "classic" arrows.  One set for the bow Halfeye gave me and one set for a boardbow I'm working on.  The way I shoot, I need little GPS trackers on my arrows if I expect to have any when I leave!  I'm getting a bit anxious at this point!
Pappy,  you mentioned something of an aerial shoot?  Should I make up a few flu flu's as well?  Sounds like it would be fun!   Josh

On another thread someone had meantioned having a Burning of the Bows ceremony for the fallen and failed.  I think it's a great idea and wonder who else may wanna join in.  How about Saturday evening the 4th?

For some of us, we will have to limit our "contributions" in order to not roast that half of the county.  Don't want the fire to be seen from the space shuttle!

Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Be looking for you there Josh, want to meet you also. I probably won't be near the chrono though, might end up disappointed with
the read out on my bows. Or worse yet I fear putting an arrow into the screen and breaking it. Yeah that will be my excuse not to
shoot thru it. ;)

Cool ,yes we talked about the Corno this weekend and will try and have that set for all you speed nuts. ;) ;D ;D Dogs are allowed but PLEASE.keep them on a leash and under control and by all means clean up behind them,if they don't like crowds you may want to re think bringing them. ;) :) We got a lot done this weekend, the shop is looking great, made some changes that should open it up a little and a new shower house, still only one at a time but man is it nice. :)

grandchildren and I are getting excited we were there last year just for sat. afternoon, the oldest girl is wanting to make her bow there this year, the youngest one well lets just say last year she found the creek and that's as far as she got, we did meet gary davis and he gave them encouragement, I brought some tank lids(johnstone) for knapping pit and will bring some more. both girls are playing ball so don't know how much time we will have.we had a great time and they have been talking about it all year.can't wait.

I need to make some arrows for the classic and was wanting to dye the feathers.  I just hadn't decided on the colors.  Pappy, you might have just helped me with that dicision.  I think I'll go with blue and white.  They'll be pretty easy to see and no UK arrows would want to get lost in TN.  haha  ;D

See ya'll soon, Dave

Lol! In all honesty the Tennessee colors were coincidental and completely unintended, but somehow fitting nonetheless.  I would much rather be sporting TN colors than the red and blue of the jayhawks.  Josh
