Non primitive mocs
« on: December 16, 2012, 06:47:03 pm »
Been needing to replace my old mocs, of this same design, for quite awhile. They are super comfortable, but somewhat difficult to put together. Most of this leather came as throw in from Seabass on a trade (thanks buddy!)

Sorry for the non "super-model" legs.   :o ??? ;D

I will take the socks, but that puny little razor wouldn't stand a chance against the old growth whiskers sprouting from these tree trunks! Besides if I shave then what's gonna keep me from freezin in Colorado next fall?

I really like these, might have to plagiarize some ideas :)  I've been wanting to make something like that (but a little higher up the legs) for still hunting in the early season.  I wonder if a coating of lard/beeswax could make them water tight?  All I'd be worried about is wet feet after walking into the bush with the morning dew on the grass.

Anyway, they look great, despite the model ;)
