I use a wool glove because it is what I hunt with. There thin enough to get a good feel for the string and still protect my fingers and keep my hands warm. I use to use the rubber things like second pic they work alright and so does what Roy said. But the horn release I tried one of those with my forty pound recurve it seemed pretty cool. But when I tried to shoot my 75 pound bow I thought it was going to tear my thumb off. Yep I wussed out real fast aint tried it since :'( :o ;D. I don't know maybe I just got a bad one.
