« on: December 30, 2012, 08:49:58 am »
Anyone have a good site they can send me to for a leather pattern to make a jacket and mocs? I am finishing a couple buck skins and thought I would make a couple things from them.

John, check out Crazy Crow. Thety have lots of patterns.  I believe they are a sponsor.  You might also try Tandy Leather Company.

you can make a pattern by taking apart clothes- that is, find a jacket you like at a thrift store, take it apart at the seams, and use the pieces as a pattern. see also matt richards book "deerskins into buckskins. a jacket can easily take four deer hides.
