palofin verde
« on: December 28, 2012, 12:17:07 am »
I just finished a 58" youth bow, two sides, belly and back, hickory, with deflect in the glue up.  Leather wrap handle, bend through the handle design.  All my bows are bend through the handle if I can help it.  I have a few bows cut to zero, with a static handle.  Anyway, Palofin Verde as a bow wood finish, has exceeded my expectations and I consider it to be superior to any top coat for bows.  It's just a preference, but wanted to hear from the experts, so I am asking.

I have no clue what that is or where to get it But I'm always open to trying something new ;)
Is this bow making a sickness? or the cure...

You can't come here and describe a bow and not show pictures. Get them posted, chop, chop.  >:D  With that said it looks like it could be a very nice finish and quite protective made with Brazilian Rosewood oil.
