Brown Glass Dalton
« on: December 12, 2012, 07:20:02 pm »
I knocked a spall off from a big glass nodule that I have  an started thinning, ended up with this nice thin 10,000 yr old dalton, I was being real careful seeing that I have'nt done any glass in awhile, bent over to pick up my abrader an got bit bad :o :o Must of been a shard of glass standing on end an stuck my index finger done on it hard, instant blood letting an of course shard stayed in for awhile, finally got the leak bandage up an finished point. It is hard to imagine people were building this style of point 10,000 yrs ago an probably were not getting cut. ::) ::) Thanks for lookin, Later Bob

Quality work, looks great. I have wondered how a glass point would do on a deer?

Beautiful point Bob ,and yes very effective.  ;) ;D this one was the bottom of an Aunt Jamima bottle, made by Shannon.Didn't even break the point ,and stuck in a rib on the off side so deep I had to field dress the deer to get it out.  :)
