Lashed mine to a pony pointed him southeast and smacked him on the buttocks. It should be in its owners hands by Thursday.

Whoa!  As shown by the picture Miss Heather took when I opened my Christmas exchange gift.  Coaster500, went over the top!  When I opened the tube, packed in the end was some braided cordage of hemp that Coaster included, some really nice grip material and a piece of purple heart for tip overlays.  Then, I reached in and pulled out the foam wrapped bow.  I could hardly believe my eyes, when I pulled the bow from the styrofoam.  It is made from the prettiest 58" long piece of vine-maple I ever saw.  The back was left au-natural as shown by all of the humps, bumps, knots and veins all preserved in Coaster's skillful work.  He dressed it up with some very nice tip overlays and a leather grip made from Miss Lena's old Italian jacket.  He hit my specs right on the spot with 50# at 26".   The last pic is of me saying, "how did he sand it?"

Coaster and I have messaged each other quite a bit, recently.  It must have been killing him not to reveal that he drew my name in the gift exchange.  It will definitely have a place in my "special bows" rack.

Coaster, I can't thank you enough for such a fine gift.  It is very obvious that you put your heart into it.
