 Here is an update. After weeks of delicate tillering and tedious sanding this one has some finish on her now

Man I got a stave just like that. Been staring at for awhile too intimidated to attack it.

Maybe you could give me some pointers in may ;)

I don't think a bow can get any prettier than that.  So simple yet there is so much there to stare and drool at.  I bet you can really get lost in a stave like that.  Can't wait for the rest of the pics!

All I can say is WOW! I have some yew staves with a few humps but that one is insane. Long Live Keenan, the King of the Roller Coaster!

Keenan:  What are you using for a finish?  It doesn't have the "yellowing."  Your sapwood is so pearly white.  Beautiful, just beautiful.  I'm helping (Chamookman) Carmichael with his.
