Thanks all. It was a fun experiment doing the dye job, I plan on doing it again on some future bows.

First, that bow has gotta shoot great, the tiller, dimensions, and execution says that.

Secondly, wonderfully clever way to manipulate the finish.  My first inclination would be "avoid spots or polka dots at all costs" if I wanted anyone to ever take the bow seriously.  You proved me wrong!  That is a really cool pattern, we'll all have to refer to it as a "Cody Treatment".   There is the "Strunk Handle", the Massey Finish", and now the "Cody Treatment".

Missed this one Cody,glad I came across it. :)That is a beauty in all aspects.
