Made a few jatoba with hickory backing. Had great results with jatoba

Beautiful work . I love that contrast.I saw the signature and realized you just saved me the cost of a business name search . I've been thinking "Lost Arrow Archery" has a nice ring to it. I'll keep thinking , but in the mean time ,if anyone confuses my on line name with your business,I'll be honoured ,but I'll be sure to set them straight. Just curious, how did you come up with the name?Tell me your story and I'll tell you mine.

 I love the handle I've used everything and anythin g I c ould get but never OSTRICH leather OSTRICK SINEW a few times.

Lost arrow just seemed to be a natural. I constantly lose arrows, and almost everytime I shoot, I return home with a lighter quiver.

My moniker was a little from the same column as yours , and a little from another . When I would go hunting I usually managed to find some VERY thick bush to walk through and lost arrows that way only to realize long after the event . I always left them there for future generations to find and ponder ,as ours does when we happen upon such artifacts.Our descendants need to know we were here and still hunting with sticks and stones .It also came from the fact that I had to leave my beloved North Country to provide for my family's future. Hoped it would never happen , but here I am in "Suburbia". Easy decision,but still a very heartbreaking move. So,........ no matter how intently you aim your arrow, it will go where it is destined to go.Even if it gets lost, it's there for a reason.

Small update on this bow. Mass is 620 grams. I've been pondering the mass theory quite a bit lately. There's definitely something to it, once you look into it.
