Saturdays:
First Saturday of each month. Flint knapping is the art of making stone tools and weapons by chipping and hitting stone. This art form has been practiced all over the world by all nationalities since the dawn of time. The Utah Valley Knapping Association is a club dedicated to preserving this heritage. Club members meet monthly at the museum where they apply many different techniques both ancient and modern to produce stone tools and weapons known today as lithic art.
Guests are welcome to come observe or learn how. Tools and raw stone are usually available for sale to guests who wish to learn the art.
