Well it sounds like TB3 should work fine. On the one backing lamination I did (hickory backing on red oak) I used TB2 and it worked just fine. I used plastic shrink wrap on that one, which clamps the whole thing perfectly only it takes much longer to dry (4-5 days) because of it virtually locking the air out. I did punch some small holes in the sides to let more in and I supposed that helped a little. So one of the things that got me thinking about possibly using something else like an epoxy was that they apparently don't need the airflow that the white glues need to dry and this is good for me, being that shrink wrap is the easiest way for me to do lams (hope to get some forms built eventually but I don't have a bandsaw to do nice even cuts). Maybe there is a different technique of wrapping the lams that would let more air in, I don't know.
