Keenan, of course these are best suited for very close range. Short and powerful does not yeald a accurate bow at more than 15 yards. I shot it through a chrono a few dozen times today and was happy with the speeds, much faster than the last. I used the wild rose plains style arrows in the picture on the rack. They have iron points and drag on the feathers but the average arrow speeds were still 162-166 fps. Got one at 176 and 182 but am sure I probably pushed my hand forward on release. These were all at 21". At 19-20 it dropped to 127fps or so. That tells me 21" is as far as I want to go.
