She is a beauty! Very nicely done representation of that style bow, I love it. Got to try one of those myself, hope when I do that it comes out that nice, Well done.

Graylan as for a online source you can do a web search for Native American collections or museums and do a search through their archives and collections. Thats the easiest way to find historical material that I have found.
My favorite bowyer is Reginald Laubin who studied Native bows and really bows of the world in general. He made various types from North America and other regions of the world Including the turkish bows that were so famous for distance and quality craftsmanship. He published a great book on the subject.

That is a nice one for sure. I am getting ready to sinew a bow just like that and was considering a snakeskin backing, but your paint work has me thinking now. I will do a search and see if I can come up with some pattern ideas. What do you use for paint?
