An unexpected gift! (And shooting link)
« on: October 30, 2012, 10:23:05 pm »
Hello Gang,

It is always amazing to me when people commit random acts of kindness and generosity.
I got home this evening to find a tube package!  So, I took a minute to put on comfortable clothes and consider who would out of the clear blue, send me such a package.

Clint Anders?  Osage Outlaw?  I didn't know what to think.

Angie grabbed the iPad and we went outside to open the package.  I was hesitant to shoot the bow immediately but couldn't resist.  I've thought that a quick change in climate can be hard on a bow.  It's solidly built and I think there is little to worry about.

The bow shoots fast and hard Clint.

Turns out, at the Classic, I gave Clint a nice complement on the bow and that was all it took for him to send it my way.

This is an example of why I enjoy this website so much and of course, the Tennessee Classic.  You just can't find better people around.

Three cheers, Clint.  If you need anything from my way, just hollar.

I'm glad you like it.  The video was cool.  I hope the humidity doesn't turn it into a wet noodle.  It was supposed to get there yesterday.  I was afraid it got held up because of the storm.  I had visions of a pvc tube floating down a street.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I bet it'll shoot fine Clint.  I'll keep her in the AC when the rainy season is in.

Nice bow Clint, I remember that one. You lucky dog, Steve, that's a nice suprise! And you have to live in Florida to be barefooted, in Baggies, with a Hoodie on when it's cold. ;D

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Your not kidding Roger.  Can people open the second video of the bow shooting?

If not, I'll repost it up.  It was giving me trouble last night.
