That's what i was asking.

In the first 2 drawings i posted, i would take wood away from the red areas which were stiff to try and balance my braced profile as well as the full draw.

Sounds like you have the right idea! The reason I asked what tool you were using ............ Tools like rasps and scrapers like to follow contours and sometimes make the tillering a bit tricky on a board bow or nice straight stave . If you angle the rasp so it is cutting more along the length of the bow ,it will bridge the low spots (hinge) and take off the high spots .  This may help you avoid hinges in the first place. IMHO they are likely the leading cause of bows coming in under weight.  I don't know your skill level ,so if this is something you already know , please don't take offence ,and kindly disregard. Ahh, i gotcha. I will have to try that.
