Hickory curve-auction bow
« on: October 26, 2012, 10:23:31 pm »
Here is a bow I made for a Christian school auction in our area.Heat treated Hickory,60",55#@26"of pull.Rat snake wraps at the curves. It settled in a little but still zips a arrow and is a pleasure to shoot.Tung oil finish,5 coats.Hickory is still a great bow wood-Hammertime

Very nice gesture and  craftsmanship!!!  I like your work. Any way I can purchase a couple of those 1 click bid tickets for the auction?

I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

Nice job, Hammer!! Sounds like a very worthwhile cause!!
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
