steel or copper rivets

ok so the bow that i need to splice is ready. i found another alternative though. i need little steel rods or round peices of steel or copper. or a TBB called them rivets. its my only hunting bow and im trying to save it if anyone could spare these i would be grateful

Splicing would be more durable than adding rivets. I believe they would weaken the bow.

i havent got any glue to splice with. the bows weight projects at 80lbs so im ok if it goes down.

TBIII will work and if you need back up wrap the handle with cordage and set it in glue.

If you are insistant on rivets find some heavy copper electrical ground wire and make your own rivets...but a spliced handle would be more practical and durable.

A couple of old broke drill bits will work in a pinch.  I did it once to reinforce the splice, but found out it wasn't needed as long as the glue joint was good.
