Had to share this with those that don't go to Life is good thread,This is one
TwinOaks oldest members and been a good friend of mine for over 45 years
grandson. He comes and hangs out with T paw at the club and always comes and stays and hunts with me on the youth hunt.I think he is 12 and has killed several deer over the years with Rifle and Muzz loader but he wanted to do it like we do,He killed this fine doe yesterday morning at 10 yards with a recurve T paw got for him this passed spring,he has worked on his shooting and thought he was ready to hunt,I guess he was right,he made a nice shot and for those that want to know about light gear this bow in in the high 20's at his draw and with a good sharp 2 bladed head it done the job very well.Proud of you boy, keep up the good work. :) :)

Great Story Pappy.  My boy says the .410 kicks too much for him and was wondering about bow hunting, but her in Indiana the minimum weight is #35.  My boys not big enought to pull that yet.  Bet that made grandpa happy!!  dp

Thanks I will pass it along to him this weekend. By the way he is 10 and the doe weight was 90 lbs. The bow has 30 lb limbs. :)
