Made it to a Primitive Hunt in Onaway this weekend. Here are some of the bows that were brought.
And this is my results. Thanks to Pearly, Blackhawk, Chuck Deshler, and Kevin Halverson for helping restore my hickory self bow!

Great shot of that bevy of curvaceous beauties, Hooterbait!  What a bunch of sexy bows.

Looks like that poor deer got hickory smoked!  It's nice to know that Kevin is redeeming the family name after all I done to it!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Thanks guys, this is the hickory bow I started 8 years ago at Marshall. It was very crude, poorly tillered and extremely heavy. With all the help I was able to get it down around 55# andthe tiller is great. I got full penetration on that doe at 12 yards and she went about 70 yards. Pearly was right when he said it is an unmatched rush. Hope to do it again, and THANK YOU for all the help, encouragement, and kind replies. Looks like it was a memorable trip! Congratulations on a fine harvest!!

Grizzly Kodiak 160. I had trade points and stone points with me also, but those arrows flew the best. Maybe next year I will try to up the ante again.

Thanks Guy! The points will but I need to get the right arrow set-up and mount them better too. I'll be at Marshall next spring and hope I can talk you into giving me some shooting lessons on the course. I'll have something different to work on and expect a bunch of help from all the fine bowyers there again.
