Fresh Venison - new pics
« on: October 15, 2012, 01:18:42 pm »
Got this doe with a 64", 57# bamboo backed hickory bow I made last summer.  I used a self nocked cedar arrow with a steel broadhead I made from a saw blade.  Fresh venison.  Oh, yeah!

The new bow draws blood! Good job Darryl.

Atta boy, Dairy Queen!  That's a lovely looking doe.  The bow is pretty dang good looking too.  All handmade equipment, can't get much better than that.

Now, tell the story, tell the story!

Not much of a story, J-dub.  Close encounter, well shot arrow, dead deer.  Here is my set up and hand made broadhead. Thanks for your replies, everyone.
