damascus guthook
« on: October 18, 2012, 11:02:02 pm »
well i have never even used a guthook before, but when i saw this blade for sale at Echoes In Time, I had to have it! The handle is an old old piece of teak that was salvaged from a shipwreck years ago. Now i just need something to try it out on. Any suggestions on how best to sharpen a blade like this? also pictured (bottom) another knife with Mt Mahogany handle.

Sweet! I have a couple of scrap pieces of Damascus, I'm going to have to try one of those.
