My very first point!

My VERY first point! If you notice in the last pic, i still have work to do on thinning the points down... but over all im happy with it and would take this one hunting(if i would get my bow done!)

Pretty good first point. When trying to thin always remember the centerline rule. Don't be scared to break it trying to thin it. Remember its just a rock until its finished.   Tower

Thanks guys! i am really enjoying this!(although my palm is taking a beating.) im just getting used to the techneque and also getting used to how responsive the rock is to different movements. Here are some pics of my second one  ;D

You are doing great,you might not have to break 2,000 lbs. of rock before your turning out consistent points. (I think I went 3 or 4 thousand)  '  Frank

Thanks guys, Unfortunetly i was showing my sis my second point and because i didnt have a strong grip on it, as she tapped it it fell on to the floor and broke in half. No big deal i guess, just time to make more LOL
