Very nice bow you got there.Clean and simple.Nice finish on it too.Mulberry has been my huckleberry in the past,but I'm trying to get 55 to 60 pounds out of it @ 28".I'm not making it wide enough or long enough.

I made the bow of the young mulberry small diameter heatwood. It's really elastik wood.
Lenght 66 ´´ntn
limb wide 38 mm
mass 440 g.

Mulberry can be pretty close to osage in color.  Its sapwood is a little thicker as a rule and the heartwood rings can be MUCH thicker than osage typically is.  Not as dense as osage, it's good bow wood.  My only complaint with it are pin knots.  They can be very troublesome and require a lot of effort when chasing a growth ring.  It doesn't darken quite as much as osage does.
