Will do. I am thinking I will use a dark gloss color yarn, and wrap the ends as well as spiral down the middle with black cord or something like that. I think it would make a cool victorian looking style handle.

Remember if your new to hooking "crocheting " try to keep the foundation chain loose. Most beginners try to keep things tight and that causes problems and will discurege you from learning just relax and keep it loose and even. if you want tighter stitches use a smaller hook it's easy once you learn the basics.
