NIce one! and nice work on the doe too.  What did you use for a finish on it? Could you possibly get a closer pic of the nocks? I love that natural camo look on hickory bows, gonna have to pick up a stave one of these days.

Nice Jon, looks like a sturdy and dependable  workhorse of a hunting bow. Great bend and getting that weight and draw length out of
that short bow and keeping that straight unbraced profile to boot can't be easy. Also like the natural camo finish on that beauty.
Oh congrats on the deer and any deer with a bow you made yourself is special.

Jon, I am liking that bow!  You got a heck of a bend outta that one.  Great looking bow.  Hickory is the stuff.  Congrats on the deer.  I can't wait til ours kicks off on 10-15....  I am practically foaming at the mouth.

Great little bow and a great full draw tiller. IMO that is the best design for hickory.

Great bow and congrats on the doe.

I think this is the first bendy handle pyrimad bow I've seen.  AWESOMENESS++  Please me some details on this bow.  What is the width at the fades and the handle?

Again, beautifully done!

Thanks for the kind words gents.
@ uncleduck,
       The finish is Tru-Oil over ebony stain. The nocks are just plain ol' side nocks. I'll post a pic if you need it.
@hedgeapple,
       Dave the handle is 1/14", 2 3/8" at the fades to 7/16" at the nocks. Super-Dooper heat treatment as well. Hickory really likes to be toasted.
@ Pat B
       I agree Pat. The key to a killer pyramid is of course the tiller but getting the tips narrow enough but stout enough is where it's at. It makes for a nice shooter.

Beautiful bow, impressive poundage and draw for it's length.

Did you do an even thickness or did you taper it?

Was it difficult to tiller?
